SET February 2014 Result

The Kerala High court division bench ordered not to publish the SET result of February 2014 till October 28, 2014. This new order is on the appeal of NSS against the single bench order. The court postponed the case for detail hearing.

NSS President filed the case against the decision with regard to the new mark system to pass the SET exam of Kerala. According to this new decision the general category should have 50 % aggregate mark in the particular examination, that for OBC candidates is 45% and for the SC/ST, PH persons is only 40% marks. NSS requested to the high court to examine this new marking scheme.

The last SET exam was conducted in 2014 February 2. The result had not published by the LBS centre Kerala even after the long 8 months. LBS prepared the result after completing the valuation of the OMR answer sheets. But due to the existing case LBS cannot publish the SET result. LBS published the answer keys of the SET exam on time and the all candidates could compare their answers which they had answered. All of them calculated their mark with the answer keys. They are waiting for the official publishing of the result.

The Kerala government decided to conduct the State Eligibility test twice in year. The delay that faces by the result affects the second new notification of the Kerala SET. It causes the Postponing of   the SET June notification.
