LP UP School Assistant (LPSA, UPSA) Appointment

Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) had notified LPSA and UPSA notification in September 2014.The candidates can apply through KPSC official website after completing the one time registration. Many people are happy with this notification because they get a good chance to enter into the Kerala Government service as a school teacher. But in the mind of the rank holders of existing LPSA and UPSA rank lists there is high level of tension. Their thinking is now in a different direction. Majority of them are disappointed about the speed of appointment from these rank lists. Only a few candidates were appointed from these lists in different Government schools as LP/UP assistants. The number of appointments within the last 3 years is below 2000; it is the total appointments entire districts of Kerala. 1292 candidates were appointed as LPSA and 704 as UPSA from these lists. Some of these lists will get the benefit of the decision of PSC to increasing the validity of the rank lists.

The Kerala PSC website reports that the appointment is at very low speed. Only in Malappuram district it is at a moderate speed. Here 469 candidates were got appointment as LP School assistant and 225 as UPSA.

The number of total appointments in LPSA post is 1292 and that of UP School assistant is 704. The rejection order against the appointments in schools lead to the bad situation of these rank lists. In the part of the vacancy estimation procedure the reporting of those vacancies is facing delay. The LPSA and UPSA rank holders have the opinion that KPSC should check the rate of the appointments from each PSC rank lists with the great decision to increase the validity of the rank lists. The new LPSA, UPSA notifications are the fire balls in the heart of the LPSA / UPSA rank holders. When a new rank list for these posts will publish by the PSC present lists will not consider. Then all the candidates who could not get Government job should wait for other chances. The last date to apply for new notification is October 15. 2014.

Kerala PSC Advice Memo

One Time Registration: Doubts and Answers

Kerala PSC introduced One time registration process in 2012. All the candidates can write a PSC examination only after completing the one time registration. After the successful completion of the registration through the PSC website the candidates would get a user ID and pass word. We can make our own password and User ID.
