Kerala Government ordered to declare the probation of 3000 HSE lab assistants and to give increment for them. They were in a great problem due to the delay of PSC exam for that post. According to this new order, the lab assistants who were appointed through direct recruitment and by transfer from 2003 March 28 will get consideration in lab attender test. The lab assistants in the aided schools achieved the right for increment and they could complete the probation period with the help of court order. The court ordered that due to the lag of PSC to hold the test. But government school lab assistants did not get the positive reply. They were waiting for an order from the authority. Kerala PSC will not publish the latest Grama Panchayat Secretary notification in 2014 with the new Secretariat Assistant notification on December 31, 2014. This new decision is based on the letter from Panchayat department directorate that says to stop the direct recruitment for the post of Panchayat Secretary. Directorate also asked PSC to do not appoint any candidate in the NJD vacancies of that post. But Public Service Commission of Kerala did not take a final decision on this demand. Kerala Public service Commission Decided to include DCA as an additional qualification for LDC. The present LD typists of various departments are working with the computer for the Data entry works. So the recruitment of more LDCs and other staff is essential and based on this new decision the number of vacancies of LD typist. The rank holders of the existing LD typist rank list are arguing against this decision of empowered committee. The transportation department of Kerala agreed with this order and cut down 32 LD typist posts. Kerala PSC started the processes to separate the last grade posts of Kerala secretariat as secretariat office attendant. The Kerala government had sent the related order to PSC. KPSC decided to conduct all the examinations as objective tests. This new decision is also for the PSC teacher tests as college lecturer, HSST, HSA ... In the first stage KPSC started this in two districts - Pathanamthitta and Ernakulam.  124 candidates were got advice memo from Pathanamthitta rank list and 96 from Ernakulam police constable rank list. The head of the department should report the vacancies which produced by the not joining of any candidates who got memo to the PSC. The vacancies are called ' Not Joining Duty ' vacancies (NJD Vacancies). The new candidate will select by PSC from the similar category of the NJD candidate. These NJD vacancies consider first while advising the rank holders. If the candidate who did not join in the post is included in any reservation category, the new candidate who will advice for the NJD vacancy by PSC should be from the same category.
