Last Grade servants Cut Off - Idukky,Kozhikode

Kerala PSC conducted last grade servants test in Idukky and Kozhikode districts on 8-11-2014, Saturday. The examination was comparatively easy to score good mark to achieve high rank in the list. The experts said that the cut off of this LGS exam will be high in between 75-85.

The Idukky, Kozhikode last grade question paper included 3 questions from the area of National Anthem, National Emblem etc..... We can see repeated questions from this part. For eg.

Which is the National Tree?

Who had translated Vandemataram in to English?

When did National Anthem of India sung at first time?

The questions from the topics constitution, independence struggle and Indian history made the paper very simple for the candidates. There are many questions from the Indian geography. Nowadays there is very importance to the information act. So PSC did not forget to ask about it. 

There were some unfamiliar questions also. Some of them are following.

Who formed the "Anuseelan Samithi".? 

The newest satellite which launched by India in 2013 for oceanic research.

The first Indian who reached in south and north poles earth.

Who was the first secretary of Kochi Rajya prajamandalam?

Where do the garden reach ship builders is situated?

The questions above are the cut off deciding questions. PSC will publish the answer key of this LGS test in the online website. Candidates can inform PSC about their complaints.

Kerala PSC Advice Memo

The advice memo for appointment means the process of advising a rank holder who has a rank in the PSC list to a reported vacancy to KPSC. This advising process is according to the KS and SSR - 14 to 17 acts. Before sending the advice memos PSC would estimate the reported vacancies from various departments for a particular posts. If there are 20 vacancies it will make into a unit of 20. From those 20 vacancies 10 will go for OC (open competition) and next 10 for BC (backward class). If the number of vacancies is below 20, 50% of the number will go for the OC candidates and other 50% will be for the reserved candidates. One Time Registration: Doubts and Answers

Kerala PSC introduced One time registration process in 2012. All the candidates can write a PSC examination only after completing the one time registration. After the successful completion of the registration through the PSC website the candidates would get a user ID and pass word. We can make our own password and User ID. By using these one can enter into his profile in the Kerala PSC site and know about the notifications, announcements, probability list, short list ....The candidates can submit their online application for different PSC tests through this profile.
