LGS Exam Idukky, Kozhikode

The last grade exam of the districts Idukky and Kozhikode will conduct on November 8, 2014. PSC allotted 706 exam centers for this test. PSC had arranged the exam centers for the Idukky test along 3 centers- Idukky, Kottayam and Eranakulam; and that of Kozhikode in 6 nearby districts like Thrissur, Malapuram, Palakad, Wayanad, Kannur, with Kozhikode. 

In the case of Idukky LGS test the number of exam centers is 191. 112 among them are in Idukky. There are 23, 881 candidates are going to write in Idukky. In Kottayam there are 40 centers and 8,500 candidates are waiting for attending the test. Finally there are 39 centers in Eranakulam and here also there are 8500 candidates. 

The exam centers of Kozhikode are 515 in number. The maximum exam centers are in Kozhikode itself- 205. 50,047 candidates will write the exam here. In thrissur there are 49 centers and 12,300 candidates will attend the test here. There are 93 centers in Palakad and the number of candidate for these centers is 10000. The number of centers in Malapuram, Wayanad and Kannur are 93, 37 and 92 respectively. The number of the candidates who will attend the test in these centers are follows:

Malapuram- 25.000
Wayanad- 10,000
Kannur- 25,000

All the candidates should download their hall ticket from the KPSC website and reach the centers with it before 1.30 P.M. The late comers will not get permission to attend the test.

Kerala PSC Advice Memo

The advice memo for appointment means the process of advising a rank holder who has a rank in the PSC list to a reported vacancy to KPSC. This advising process is according to the KS and SSR - 14 to 17 acts. Before sending the advice memos PSC would estimate the reported vacancies from various departments for a particular posts. If there are 20 vacancies it will make into a unit of 20. From those 20 vacancies 10 will go for OC (open competition) and next 10 for BC (backward class). If the number of vacancies is below 20, 50% of the number will go for the OC candidates and other 50% will be for the reserved candidates. One Time Registration: Doubts and Answers

Kerala PSC introduced One time registration process in 2012. All the candidates can write a PSC examination only after completing the one time registration. After the successful completion of the registration through the PSC website the candidates would get a user ID and pass word. We can make our own password and User ID. By using these one can enter into his profile in the Kerala PSC site and know about the notifications, announcements, probability list, short list ....The candidates can submit their online application for different PSC tests through this profile.
