Kerala PSC News About Notification, Exam, Ranklist and Physical Test

Sub Inspector (SI) short list includes 647 Women Candidates: The Si short list (civil police cadre) includes 647 women candidates. PSC had included 1003 candidates in the main list and 881 candidates in the supplementary list; that is totally 1884 rank holders. Among them 647 are females. The number of the males is 1237. Read: SI Physical Test SI Physical Test for the Female candidates: Kerala PSC decided to hold the SI physical test for the short listed female candidates. The details will send through SMS to the registered mobile phones of them. The test will conduct on December 30 and 31 in Ernakulam, Trivandrum , Kollam and Kozhikode. Higher Secondary Lab Assistant: Order from Kerala State Government

Kerala Government ordered to declare the probation of 3000 HSE lab assistants and to give increment for them. They were in a great problem due to the delay of PSC exam for that post. According to this new order, the lab assistants who were appointed through direct recruitment and by transfer from 2003 March 28 will get consideration in lab attender test. The lab assistants in the aided schools achieved the right for increment and they could complete the probation period with the help of court order. The court ordered that due to the lag of PSC to hold the test. But government school lab assistants did not get the positive reply. They were waiting for an order from the authority. There is a rule that the lab attender's  test should conduct annually. But PSC had not conducted that test after 2010. In between 1995 and 2010, there were only 2 test had been conducted. Secretariat Office Attendant

Kerala PSC started the processes to separate the last grade posts of Kerala secretariat as secretariat office attendant. The Kerala government had sent the related order to PSC. There are many different opinions on this new decision from KPSC. The Kerala State government aimed to form a special service that has the qualification that is equivalent to standard 10, new name and high salary. This new post is called secretariat office attendant will be same. The main complaint against this new decision from PSC is that this post will fill only with the candidates from Trivandrum and nearby districts. There is an argument to include the PSC last grade servants for the new secretariat office attendant post. This demand of various unions of employees will inform to Kerala government by PSC. Kerala PSC Makes Exams Objective

KPSC decided to conduct all the examinations as objective tests. This new decision is also for the PSC teacher tests as college lecturer, HSST, HSA ... The rank list for the teacher posts for the government educational institutions will publish by KPSC on the basis of the OMR test and interview. This modified decision will become practical on wards the next notification of HSST and HSA... The earlier decision of PSC on this matter was to conduct objective test first and the descriptive test for the qualified candidates of the first OMR exam. But now PSC decided to avoid the descriptive test completely. The main reasons for this are following: The expense for the descriptive answer sheet valuation is very high. LDC (Lower Division Clerk) Probability list published First PSC e-office launched in Kasaragod HSST Computer Science Rank List LDC Probability List Published: KPSC published the LDC probability list on October 30, 2014. There are 26, 000 candidates included in the LDC list. After the publishing of the LDC list PSC will give chance to the candidates to upload their certificates. It should be done to their personal profile of KPSC one time registration . The certificate on verification will be on November 27. For the LDC certificate verification preparations will make in all the district PSC offices. The PSC employees and officers will get training for this from November 15 at Ernakulam. PSC Starts Examination centers in Metro cities:   Kerala PSC decided to allow examination centre in Metro cities for attending major PSC tests. According to the PSC authority many people are sending applications for various exams like LD clerk , last grade servants etc.... The lakhs of applicants who are preparing for these exams coming from various places. So PSC had decided to set up exam centers in metro cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata.    This new decision is based on the request of public service commission to the Kerala government to allow the examination centers in these places for helping the Keralite candidates from out of Kerala. KPSC will Include Register Number In Answer Sheets

PSC decided to print the register number of each candidate in their answer sheets. Many candidates were disqualified due to the incorrect marking of the register number while they bubbling that in the OMR answer sheets. Almost 14000 candidates were disqualified in the last LDC examination only because the wrong entry of the register number. Thousands of candidates are losing their chance to get a government job due to this mistake. While the scanning of the OMR answer sheets, those which contain wrong information will not consider. The rejected candidates may get high marks in the test. But they will not get a place in the rank list due to the small but major mistake. Sometimes they would wait for the advice memo and appointment from Kerala PSC without realizing their mistake.
