KPSC will recognize fireman rank list within February 20, 2015. Commission suggested starting the advising in this month. The one time verification process for 43 ranked candidates will be conduct on February 18. The advice will get only to the candidates who will submit their certificate on time. There are 1200 fireman vacancies reported to PSC. Among them, 259 are NJD vacancies. PSC is preparing advice memos to these vacancies, at Kollam regional office.  The candidates are in high tension due to the lack of reporting of complete vacancies and the delay of appointment. PSC also expects many NJD vacancies from first stage of advice. These vacancies should be report by the department for getting job for all the ranked candidates in the list. The fireman new notification will publish by PSC in June 2015. Its new rank list will publish in 2016 June. There is a complaint about the size of present fireman rank list. It is a list of 2000 candidates for 1200 vacancies

KPSC did not start the appointment process of KSRTC blacksmith. The rank list published before 3 1/2 months. There 500 vacancies of blacksmith in KSRTC. At the time of KSRTC blacksmith notification in 2009, there were 350 vacancies of this post. The appointment delays due to the disapproval of final rank list. KPSC decided to start the appointment from this ranked list soon after the verification of experience certificate of the listed candidates. Majority of the candidates in rank list of blacksmith have experience in KSRTC. In the preliminary verification, PSC had found that some candidates were submitted duplicate experience certificate. If this would be proving by authority, those candidates will reject from the list and it will modify. The KSRTC blacksmith main list contains 480 candidates.
