LGS Various Pathanamthitta, Kasaragode, Cut Off Mark

Kerala PSC had conducted last grade servant exam in Pathanamthitta and Kasaragode on October 25, 2014. The questions in that LGS question paper of those districts included high level questions. It contained unexpected questions also. That is the LGS question paper of Pathanamthitta and Kasaragode was little bit tough. So there is a chance to low cut off mark . It may be in between 70-75. KTET (Kerala Teachers Eligibility Test) Answer Key

Kerala Pareekshabhavan conducted four categories KTET examinations in last 2 months. Pareekshabhavan published the answer keys of all the KTET question papers of 2014. Candidates can compare their answers with these answer keys those published in Pareekshabhavan's website. There is chance for the candidates who attended the KTET exam in 2014 to send their complaints with regard to the answer which had published in the website. Pareekshabhavan will examine the complaints and finalize the answers before the publishing of the result. Only based on the final answer key the marks will calculated. Within the short time after publishing the answer key many complaints had got about the answer keys, especially about the UP section answer key ( of KTET Category 2 exam) Authority informed that they would consider the complaints before preparing the result. Kerala TET (Teachers Eligibility Test) Review

Kerala government made compulsory success in the KTET examination for teachers on the basis of educational right that introduced by central government. The teaching candidates should pass the Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) for working in the Schools under central government (CBSE Schools). Following this government of Kerala introduced the KTET exam in the state in the year 2012. The law for educational rights includes the primary schools only. But Kerala government conducts this test for high school also. The first KTET notification published before 2 years. At that time the authority said that the applicants of HSA, UPSA and LPSA PSC examinations should pass the TET in Kerala.  The KTET exam question papers were very tough in the previous years. But many candidates worked hard and passed the test to become a government school teacher in Kerala.  After the first KTET PSC had notified the HSA test. But there was not a demand for a pass in the KTET qualifying exam.

SET February 2014 Result

The Kerala High court division bench ordered not to publish the SET result of February 2014 till October 28, 2014. This new order is on the appeal of NSS against the single bench order. The court postponed the case for detail hearing. NSS President filed the case against the decision with regard to the new mark system to pass the SET exam of Kerala. According to this new decision the general category should have 50 % aggregate mark in the particular examination, that for OBC candidates is 45% and for the SC/ST, PH persons is only 40% marks. NSS requested to the high court to examine this new marking scheme.  The last SET exam was conducted in 2014 February 2. The result had not published by the LBS centre Kerala even after the long 8 months. LBS prepared the result after completing the valuation of the OMR answer sheets. KSRTC Conductor Appointment

Kerala government assured that all the advised candidates will get appointment in KSRTC within 1 year. PSC sent advice memo to 9300 candidates in previous September, 2013. KPSC did that due to the reported vacancies from KSRTC. Later, KSRTC argued that they got a mistake on the number of vacancies. They told that there were only 3808 vacancies of reserve conductors. PSC could give appointment only to 3808 people from the advised 9300 candidates. The remaining 5500 rank holders are waiting with the advice memo from Kerala PSC for the appointment. Among the appointed candidates almost 1470 were not joined in the job and same number NJD vacancies were produced with almost 100 retirement vacancies of reserve conductor post in KSRTC. Now there are about 1600 vacancies of conductor job and KSRTC can give appointment for same number candidates from the Reserve Conductor rank list. PSC Starts Examination centers in Metro cities:   Kerala PSC decided to allow examination centre in Metro cities for attending major PSC tests. According to the PSC authority many people are sending applications for various exams like LD clerk , last grade servants etc.... The lakhs of applicants who are preparing for these exams coming from various places. So PSC had decided to set up exam centers in metro cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata.    This new decision is based on the request of public service commission to the Kerala government to allow the examination centers in these places for helping the Keralite candidates from out of Kerala. Junior Public Health Nurse Interview

Kerala PSC notified the junior public health nurse grade 2 NCA - Muslim (Trivandrum) in 2012. Its category Number is 636/2012. PSC had conducted the exam on 16-08-2013. The short list of junior public health nurse had come in 2014, July.65 candidates were shortlisted. The certificate verification had done on 30-07-14 and 31-07-2014. In the verification process 20 JPN qualified candidates were present. The remaining qualified persons were with Bsc nursing and GNM certificates. The number of candidates who attended the certificate verification was only 35. Now PSC declares the interview date for the all candidates who had placed in the published short list. The interview is on October 23 and 24.  The junior health nurse qualification is JPN. The qualifications like Bsc nursing and GNM will not consider by PSC while choosing right candidates. Kerala PSC Advice Memo

The advice memo for appointment means the process of advising a rank holder who has a rank in the PSC list to a reported vacancy to KPSC. This advising process is according to the KS and SSR - 14 to 17 acts. Before sending the advice memos PSC would estimate the reported vacancies from various departments for a particular posts. If there are 20 vacancies it will make into a unit of 20. From those 20 vacancies 10 will go for OC (open competition) and next 10 for BC (backward class). If the number of vacancies is below 20, 50% of the number will go for the OC candidates and other 50% will be for the reserved candidates. Last Grade Alappuzha, Palakkad Cut Off

Kerala PSC conducted last grade examination in Alapuzha and Palakkad districts on October 11. 2014. The questions in the LGS question paper were very simple and familiar to the candidates. So the expected cut off mark of the LGS test of Alappuzha and Palakkad districts is 80- 85. Majority of the questions are from previous question papers. KPSC will Include Register Number In Answer Sheets

PSC decided to print the register number of each candidate in their answer sheets. Many candidates were disqualified due to the incorrect marking of the register number while they bubbling that in the OMR answer sheets. Almost 14000 candidates were disqualified in the last LDC examination only because the wrong entry of the register number. Thousands of candidates are losing their chance to get a government job due to this mistake. While the scanning of the OMR answer sheets, those which contain wrong information will not consider. The rejected candidates may get high marks in the test. But they will not get a place in the rank list due to the small but major mistake. LP UP School Assistant (LPSA, UPSA) Appointment

Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) had notified LPSA and UPSA notification in September 2014.The candidates can apply through KPSC official website after completing the one time registration. Many people are happy with this notification because they get a good chance to enter into the Kerala Government service as a school teacher. But in the mind of the rank holders of existing LPSA and UPSA rank lists there is high level of tension. Their thinking is now in a different direction. Majority of them are disappointed about the speed of appointment from these rank lists. Only a few candidates were appointed from these lists in different Government schools as LP/UP assistants. The number of appointments within the last 3 years is below 2000; it is the total appointments entire districts of Kerala. 1292 candidates were appointed as LPSA and 704 as UPSA from these lists. SI New Rank List within One Month

KPSC had decided to modify the police sub inspector rank list . This modification is to obey the order of administrative tribunal. Due to this latest decision, some of the candidates who are in training will lose their chance to become a sub inspector of Kerala police. KPSC had not estimated the number of such appointments and cancellations. So there is no clear data about the candidates who can get the job or lose the job. There is a probability to publish new rank list within one month.  The primary calculations said that PSC will reject the advice memos of almost 46 people. They will consider for including in supplementary rank list of reservation categories. After starting new rotation chart 25 candidates of the above 46 may get appointment again. The remaining candidates should wait for next advice memo or new SI notification from Kerala PSC. The candidates from same community will consider for the vacant posts produced by rejecting the 46 candidates from the present list. 

LD Clerk 2014 Shortlist

LDC shortlist will publish by Kerala PSC in the mid of October 2014. Previous decision was to publish them on September 15, and then PSC postponed it to September 30. But KPSC could not make it practical because on September 30 the lists of all the districts had not completed. Now also some of the lists are preparing by the related PSC offices. So the new information from KPSC is the decision is that the new LD clerk shortlists will publish in 2014 October. This time PSC planning to publish whole, 14 LDC shortlists at same day. It may be in between October 10 and 20. PSC will include all eligible and qualified candidates in these shortlists. Kerala PSC had done its great service by sending advice memos for the post of Last Grade Servants in Government owned companies/boards/corporations. PSC had started to send advises to the rank holders of LGS rank list. In the first chance 959 candidates will get appointment. The procedures will start in nearest future. PSC Increased the Rank List Duration up to 2015 March 31

Kerala PSC recognized the demand of Kerala Government to increase the duration of all PSC rank lists up to next 6 months, that is up to 2015, March 31. All the KPSC rank list which are valid on 2014, September 30 and have not completed 4 years and 6 months will get this benefit. All these lists will be valid up to March 31, 2015. If PSC would publish a new rank list for a particular post, the validity of the existing rank list will automatically finish. The uniform posts like police, excise etc.... Which need training would not consider for this new rule. PSC authority had told that almost 800 KPSC rank lists will get this chance. Now the duration of validity of the PSC rank lists is 3 years. Last Grade Servants Cut Off Mark

Last Grade Servant (LGS) examination had conducted by Kerala PSC in Trivandrum and Wayanad on 20-09-2014 with same LGS question paper. The cut off mark of the last grade exam of Trivandrum and Wayanad may be almost near to 75-82. KPSC had conducted LGS test in each district with different question papers till the previous year.
