Company/Board/Corporation Last Grade Appointment Started

Kerala PSC had done its great service by sending advice memos for the post of Last Grade Servants in Government owned companies/boards/corporations. PSC had started to send advises to the rank holders of LGS rank list. In the first chance 959 candidates will get appointment. The procedures will start in nearest future.

KPSC had decided to send the memos firstly to the different companies, boards and corporations. Then it starts to make advice for the rank holders. On the first time Kerala PSC consider the first ranked candidates for appointing in the Handicraft Development Corporation. In this week the advises for the companies like KSFE will send to the candidates. These advice memos are preparing in the Calicut PSC offices.

Kerala PSC had conducted the Last Grade Examination for selecting the last grade servants for various companies, boards and corporations in Kerala which are under the ownership of Kerala Government. They include KSFE, KSEB, KSRTC, Handicraft Development Corporation, Cashew Development Corporation.... The LGS question paper was simple for the candidates who are working hard to attend the various KPSC examinations. So the Cut off mark of the company board corporation Last grade test was very high - 92. All the rank holders are well qualified and extra hard working people. There are around 2900 main list candidates in the LGS rank list. Beside it so many candidates were included in the different supplementary rank lists.

Kerala PSC Advice Memo

The advice memo for appointment means the process of advising a rank holder who has a rank in the PSC list to a reported vacancy to KPSC. This advising process is according to the KS and SSR - 14 to 17 acts. Before sending the advice memos PSC would estimate the reported vacancies from various departments for a particular posts. If there are 20 vacancies it will make into a unit of 20. From those 20 vacancies 10 will go for OC (open competition) and next 10 for BC (backward class). If the number of vacancies is below 20, 50% of the number will go for the OC candidates and other 50% will be for the reserved candidates. One Time Registration: Doubts and Answers

Kerala PSC introduced One time registration process in 2012. All the candidates can write a PSC examination only after completing the one time registration. After the successful completion of the registration through the PSC website the candidates would get a user ID and pass word. We can make our own password and User ID. By using these one can enter into his profile in the Kerala PSC site and know about the notifications, announcements, probability list, short list ....The candidates can submit their online application for different PSC tests through this profile.
