One Time Registration: Doubts and Answers
Kerala PSC introduced One time registration process in 2012. All the candidates can write a PSC examination only after completing the one time registration. After the successful completion of the registration through the PSC website the candidates would get a user ID and pass word. We can make our own password and User ID. By using these one can enter into his profile in the Kerala PSC site and know about the notifications, announcements, probability list, short list ....The candidates can submit their online application for different PSC tests through this profile. We can download PSC hall tickets from this profile. While the online registration one should enter his personal details, contact information, qualifications, experience details in the profile. This information can edit in future if need.
Steps to do One Time Registration of KPSC:

- Arrange your photograph (digital form) with following features.
- Maximum Size: 30 KB
- Image Dimension: 150 w*200 H px
- Image type : JPG
- Enter your name and date on which you had taken the photograph in two lines in black and white text with white rectangular back ground at the bottom of the photo'
- Scan the image of your signature that put on white paper that would have the following features
- Maximum Size: 30 KB
- 150w *100H px
- JPG format
- Keep any of your ID cards- Voters' ID, PAN card, Driving licence, AADHAAR...
- Log in to Kerala PSC official website www.thulasi.keralapsc.gov.in
- click on 'sign up'
- You can see a message that reminds you to check the name and date on your photograph.
- Click on 'I agree' button
- Press 'Next' button
- Upload the photo
- Upload your signature
- Type the User ID and password for log in to the profile and for future dealings.
- Add your personal details correctly
- Enter your educational qualification and experience details in proper area.
- Submit the data
How to find out the lost password
If our password to enter into the one time registration profile had lost you can find it out by messaging a SMS in particular format to the PSC number. This mobile number from which you sending that SMS should be same to the number you had entered while the registration process. If you have no this number now you should contact directly to the nearest PSC office to get the password. You have no right to register again in the PSC site.
How to enter name and date on the uploaded photograph
The candidates should enter their name and date on the photo which uploads to the PSC site while the one time registration process. You can type the name and date on the photo with the help of a digital photographer or computer expert.
If your photo has no date and name or either of them you cannot print the hall ticket with the photograph which include the date and name. If the hall ticket contain this type of photo a candidate cannot attend a PSC test. If you had uploaded a photo without the name or date you should do it fast before you apply for any exam of KPSC.
How to edit the one time registration profile
If any candidates have to correct anything in his profile, he can do it easily. After entering to the one time registration link through the KPSC Thulasi site you can see a button 'edit'. Click on that and enter the correct information in the proper place and save.
Why PSC rejects a photo with the name
Kerala PSC would reject a person's application without a proper reason. If PSC rejects an application even it include the photo with the name and date there will be a reason. If the hall ticket has a photo without name or date the candidate's application will reject by PSC and he cannot attend the test. Even though he attended the exam, during certificate verification the authority will recognize this mistake and that candidate will not get a place in the short list. So the candidates should take a print out of the details which he entered in the profile including the uploaded photo during the one time registration process. It is the only evidence you can show as a proof for the photo with the name and date.
How to edit the educational qualification
In the one time registration profile one can edit his qualification details when he acquires a new one. After entering into the profile by typing the User ID and the password you can see your profile on the screen. Click on the 'edit' button to add new qualifications. If you face any difficulty with this, you can do this by submitting suitable certificates in the nearby PSC office. They will help you to edit the educational qualification.
How to change the uploaded signature
If there is any need for uploading a new signature to the one time registration process, contact nearby PSC office and do the correction.
How to renew the uploaded photograph
Scan the new photograph with particular specifications. It would have the name and date. Edit the existing photo with the new one
How to edit father's name in one time profile of KPSC
Contact the nearby PSC office with suitable certificates to prove the father's name. They will help you for that.
How to change the date of birth in the personal profile in PSC one time registration
Go to nearby KPSC office with your SSLC book and ask them to help you.
How to find out the one time registration User ID
Did you forget the User ID? Don't worry . SMS to 537252

How to edit the communication address in the one time registration profile
If you want to change anything in the address column of your one time registration profile contact to any PSC office. All the candidates should take care to enter the correct information while registering in KPSC.

ReplyDeleteYou should upload a suitable photograph with name and date on which the photo had taken. Once you upload that photo you need to change it after 10 years. That is you don't change the photo or the date on it when you apply for a PSC exam before the completion of 10 years. DeleteYou can apply scanned documents once you get short listed otherwise it is forbidden. You'll get a notification in your profile that you've shortlisted and then you're authorized to upload the required scanned documents for psc's One Time Certificate verification.

I think you had tried to change the incorrect dob in your profile and failed. So contact your nearest PSC office and enquire about it. They can help you to overcome this problem. DeleteSir, I had attended for Certificate verification for the post of Lucturer Grade -2 Gramavikasana dept recently held at KPSC Regional office at Kozhikode. But unfortunately when i reached PSC officials told all my certificates are properly uploaded but my signature is not visible hence rejected. Sir, I am really surprised to see this action from your office because the signature panel which was created as a mandatory requirement before registration is accepted then why candidate did not given a chance for selection or further process after verification. I am totally shattered because of this strict action. Kindly advice if i can request for considering my case as verification officer rejected just because of technical reason and now a days even banks consider attestation of a signature in case of any doubts while processing the request from clients and even the legal system in our country also confirms that signature can be verified at any point of time even in legal records. Deletemy wife registered the designation as "constable" but actually she is "women police constable". For applying the post of Women Sub inspector the "constable" designation has to be changed to Women police constable. But it is blocked by the psc. ReplyDeleteI am a diploma electrical candidate.At the first time of one time registration I wrongly entered my qualification name as NCVT/ITI electrical instead of diploma electrical.AFter I correctly added my qualification as another one due to the locking of wrong qualification(applied 2 electrician jobs with wrong qualification).when I am applied to meter reader kseb the basic qualification is ncvt /iti electrical.l cannot applied through with my correct qualification.I send application through ncvt/iti electrical and I attend the examination.if there is any problem when I will shortlisted,will they reject my application,pls said me to solve this problem.

if you will short list by PSC, at the time of certificate verification your qualification certificates will check. So there is no chance to enter to the rank list. It will not badly affect other applications and exams with your correct qualification. Thanks for your query Shahul.
