Kerala PSC will start SI Physical Test from December 29,2014

Kerala PSC published the notification for SI physical test. It will be a common physical efficiency test for the following post.
  • Sub Inspector of Kerala Police
  • Armed Police SI
  • Excise Inspector
  • Assistant Jailor Grade 1
The shortlisted candidates of the above posts should know the following details of the physical test.

Date of the Physical Test:

KPSC will held the SI physical test from 29-12-2014 to 1-12015. The date for each candidate will send through SMS by KPSC to their registered mobile phone number in PSC one time registration profile.

SI Physical Test Centers:

Kerala Public Service Commission decided to conduct the SI physical test in 4 centers. Details are following.

  • Trivandrum- for the candidates from Thiruvananthapuram and Pathanamthitta
  • Kollam- For the candidates from Kollam and Alappuzha
  • Ernakulam- For candidates from Kottayam, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad and Idukky
  • Kozhikode- Kozhikode, Malappuram, Wayanad, Kannur and Kasaragode
Admission Ticket for the SI physical test:

All the short listed candidates should download and print out their hall ticket from the official website of Kerala PSC

Kerala PSC Advice Memo

The advice memo for appointment means the process of advising a rank holder who has a rank in the PSC list to a reported vacancy to KPSC. This advising process is according to the KS and SSR - 14 to 17 acts. Before sending the advice memos PSC would estimate the reported vacancies from various departments for a particular posts. If there are 20 vacancies it will make into a unit of 20. From those 20 vacancies 10 will go for OC (open competition) and next 10 for BC (backward class). If the number of vacancies is below 20, 50% of the number will go for the OC candidates and other 50% will be for the reserved candidates. One Time Registration: Doubts and Answers

Kerala PSC introduced One time registration process in 2012. All the candidates can write a PSC examination only after completing the one time registration. After the successful completion of the registration through the PSC website the candidates would get a user ID and pass word. We can make our own password and User ID. By using these one can enter into his profile in the Kerala PSC site and know about the notifications, announcements, probability list, short list ....The candidates can submit their online application for different PSC tests through this profile.
