Kerala PSC Last Grade Notification 2017 Coming Soon



Kerala Public Service Commission informed that latest last grade servants notification will come soon. This new notification will call for on the basis of new qualification. All seventh standard passed candidates can apply for this LGS exam. Degree holders can not apply for this exam. 

Last Grade Examination 2017 - Details:    Read :- Last Grade Servant 2017 Last date June 14

Age bar - 18-36 years. Reserved candidates will get relaxation.
Qualification - Pass in standard 7. Candidate should not be a graduate.
Salary scale - 16500 - 37500 Rs.
Syllabus - Facts about India and Kerala, Kerala renaissance, Science, Current affairs, English, Quantitative aptitude and Mental ability.

As per new decision of KPSC, Malayalam may be a part of LGS exam question paper.

Examination date and time - PSC informed that last grade tests will start in the first of 2018. The present last grade rank list will expire on 2018 June 29. The latest LGS list will come on next day. PSC will notify for new LGS exam after the LDC examinations those starts from 2017 May. Exam time will 1.15 hours (from 2.00 PM to 3.15 PM).

In this time, number of LGS applications will decrease because graduates can't apply for this test. In previous time, there were 13 lakhs applications for last grade exam. This time it may decrease up to 8 lakhs.

Kerala PSC Advice Memo

The advice memo for appointment means the process of advising a rank holder who has a rank in the PSC list to a reported vacancy to KPSC. This advising process is according to the KS and SSR - 14 to 17 acts. Before sending the advice memos PSC would estimate the reported vacancies from various departments for a particular posts. If there are 20 vacancies it will make into a unit of 20. From those 20 vacancies 10 will go for OC (open competition) and next 10 for BC (backward class). If the number of vacancies is below 20, 50% of the number will go for the OC candidates and other 50% will be for the reserved candidates.
